William emerged as the best candidate to be the head coach of the Ontario Badminton Academy. His vast experiences of coaching in different countries throughout the decades shaped the one and only coaching style of his. His emphasis on teaching the fundamentals and delicate techniques to players from a young age paired perfectly with his attention to the physical abilities at later stage of his players. Such vision of coaching requires a lot of patience from the coach, and William has not failed to provide his students with that after all these years. His international experience also strengthens his strategic plays as he coaches players not only during practice, but also in tournaments. This is why our OBA players achieve excellent results in provincial, national, and international tournaments since OBA established September 2017.
