We are always hiring for full-time high performance badminton coaches

HELP DESK COORDINATOR

Terms of Employment: Full-Time and Part-time, flexible evenings and weekends

Wage:

- Salary based on experience

- Continuing Full-Time / Part-Time with three months probationary period

Hours:

- To be determined

- Help Desk Hours:

    Mon - Fri: 3:30 pm - 8:30 pm

    Sat: 10 am - 10:30 pm

    Sun: 10 am - 8 pm

Start Date:

- As soon as possible

Experience:

-  Experienced people give priority

Languages:
-English and Mandarin (Optional: Cantonese)

Work Setting:
- Community-based, local/regional sports club
- Non-smoking
- Urban location, it is the employee's responsibility to provide their own means of transportation

Duties:
- Greeting and welcoming members, non-members, and parents to the club
- Answering telephone calls and WeChat inquiries regarding court rentals and training lessons

- Ensuring proper attire is maintained within the perimeter of the club
- Manage all memberships, lessons, and court rental registrations and provide detailed invoices for all customers
- Log and maintain a detailed daily summary of all transactions
- Any other responsibilities and administrative duties that would be significant in order to maintain effective operations of the front desk and the clubs

- Create posts and photo updates for the website

- Maintain cleanliness of the club and pro-shop

- Assist customers with pro-shop items

- Handling payment for the above products and pro-shop items


Requirements:
- Microsoft Word/Excel: Proficient
- Google App: Proficient

- Chinese Input: Ping Yin Preferred
- Above-average knowledge of badminton
- Education: High school or above
- Good reading, writing, communication, and math skills
- Good planning and organizing skills
- Work as a part of a team environment but can work independently 

PERMANENT FULL TIME COACH

Terms of Employment:
- Permanent full-time

- 30-40 hours per week

- High-Performance Elite Coach: $30 per hour

 

Anticipated Start Date:
- As soon as possible

Sports Concentration:
- Badminton

Work Setting:
- Community-based, local and/or regional sports club-specific duties:
- Assist the Head Coach with High-Performance Training program development;
- Participate in training sessions and coach meetings;
- Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions;
- Develop, plan and co-ordinate competitive schedules and programs;
- Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games;
- Analyze and evaluate athletes' or teams' performance;
- Observe and evaluate prospective athletes' skills and performance;
- Provide feedback to players, parents and the Club;

 

Other Requirements
- Badminton training experience;
- National or international badminton competition experience;
- National and/or international championship holders.
